Dr Pertusa is a private consultant psychiatrist with over 12 years of clinical practise experience. He completed his medical degree and psychiatry training at Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona, Spain. He holds an MSc in Affective Neuroscience from Maastricht University, an MSc in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a PhD in Psychiatry from King’s College London.

Dr Pertusa takes a holistic, biological and cognitive-behavioural approach to mental health, taking the view that mental health problems can be the result of a combination of factors including biology, genetics, upbringing, psychological tendencies and our environment.

He believes in promoting a healthy style of living and helping his patients understand and manage their psychological, emotional or mental health problems. He is a Specialist Associate member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and runs his private practise in Harley Street, London.
